This teaching unit is delivered to speech & language therapy students in the first semester of the first year. This is a teaching unit that belongs to the general education program English for SLT I is a comprehensive course designed to expand and enrich your understanding of the English Language in order to prepare you to later support and individualize linguistic intervention for your clients. The course will focus on improving grammar, sentence structure and communication skills in order to support effective therapy sessions with clients. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical exercises, you will develop the necessary language proficiency to excel in your future profession whilst meeting your clients’ needs.
