Pragmatic and discursive abilities: evaluation and intervention

This teaching unit, designed for master’s students in Speech and language therapy, offers an in-depth exploration of pragmatics and discourse skills which have been introduced in the undergraduate program (bachelor’s degree). It covers key theoretical concepts related to pragmatics and discourse, assessment protocols, and rehabilitation techniques. In this course, students are trained to use tests and clinical observation to assess pragmatics and discourse in various pathologies, and they learn to develop personalized intervention plans using an evidence-based practice approach.
