The purpose of this class is to develop an understanding of normal phonation in comparison to a variety of laryngeal pathologies. Emphasis will be placed on the development of appropriate assessment procedures and evidence-based treatment approaches to voice disorders. Specific emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking skills related to clinical assessment and intervention of individuals with voice disorders.
