One of the important pillar in driving policy forward is the provision of financial resources. The same is true for sustainable development. Without the appropriate financial resources, sustainability will be hard to achieve. It is important to note that the environment sector is one of the most under-funded sectors in the development field. For this reason, the governments of the developing world have relied on multi- and bi-lateral agencies for the provision of funds for the environment sector since their national budgets have not given priority to this sector. The aim of this course will be to train students to prepare a project proposal in order to obtain funds from international agencies to undergo certain projects in the environment sector.
