Work Ready Now

SMEs account for the majority of businesses worldwide and are important contributors to job creation and global economic development. They represent about 90% of businesses and more than 50% of employment worldwide. These businesses have been started by entrepreneurs at some point and play a major role in most economies. This course will give students an overview of entrepreneurship and its impact on societies. It will also provide them with the entrepreneurial thinking, by identifying the characteristics of entrepreneurs and whether their own skills are built to engage in entrepreneurship. It will also allow them to hone their soft skills through the Work Ready Now curriculum, and will teach them how to identify business opportunities, and turn them into a business model canvas.
